POSS – Driving Innovation in Functional Foods is a unique spin-off, the result of a collaboration between two of Greece’s leading universities: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Thessaly.
The company’s vision is to boost the primary production and manufacturing activities of Greek food, nutraceutical, and cosmetics industries, primarily by enhancing sustainability and integrating these industries into the circular economy. This will lead to increased outward orientation and offer consumers functional products of high added value with scientifically proven (evidence-based) health benefits. These products will be produced through rational, eco-friendly processes that prioritize resource management and adopt circular economy principles.
